"Following a
brief evaluation, I purchased Ranger 1.2(6) to aid in flight planning and
route estimation as a military aviator assigned to Europe. It has already
proven an indispensable tool, and is especially valuable in situations where
a rapid mission change or an unanticipated follow-on leg is required.
By creating a custom
database for my own area of operations, the process of distance estimation
has become instantaneous and error-free. As noted, this is of particular
benefit when attempting to estimate fuel consumption or recalculate enroute
times while underway.
In my view, the
balance between utter simplicity and real functionality couldn't be any
better -- well done RealTimeTools! -
